A Gibson County Tennessee Tea Party Group

Who are we: The "Gibson County Patriots", are Patriotic Americans with Christian conservative values (formally known as the silent majority).

What is our purpose: To positively impact Government by influencing both parties to become morally and fiscally responsible and adhere to the supreme law of our land, The Constitution of the United States of America. To promote and support conservative candidates with integrity who will honor their oath of office and our Constitution and work to defeat those who do not, then to hold those elected to office accountable to the spirit and intent of our Constitution and to their oath of office to support and defend that Constitution.

We are predominately a Christian group just as America is predominately a Christian nation. We welcome and take no offense to those of other religions and trust that they will take no offense to ours. Any Religion or anyone who agrees with our purpose stated above is welcome. We are by majority independents but there are Republicans as well as Democrats in our group. Defining ourselves as having Christian conservative values simply designates that we are pro-life and believe in one man and one woman marriage and other biblical principles. As the Tea Party is a grass roots movement not all groups hold exactly the same standards but we all have one thing very much in common, the belief that our Constitution is and should remain the supreme law of our land. Those who hold contempt for our Constitution are our adversaries and are not welcome in our group or any other Tea Party group that we are aware of. Liberals, Progressives, Socialist, and Communist are among those as these ideologies oppose the Liberty of the American people guaranteed by our Constitution.
